ZACHARY KING

Johnny was kind, knowledgable, and incredibly thorough. Johnny takes photos of *everything*, good condition or poor, so you know exactly what you're looking at when you read one of his reports. Furthermore, Johnny takes his time with reports, dedicating a minimum of three hours to each property, and implements a three-pass approach to make sure nothing is missed.

BRICE SAUNDERS

I not only received a full inspection report, but also received tips on how to care and maintain home. He is passionate about what he does and that can clearly be seen as a testimony to his work.

GREGORY POWELL

Johnny was the best! He went through every nook and cranny on the house we were thinking about buying. He went every inch from the roof to the basement and every crawl space. Nothing was missed as he was on a mission to point out every detail of the home. Thanks to him he saved us from buying a home with way more problems than we knew.

Meet Your Inspector

John Dorton

I have 15 years of home improvement and construction experience prior to inspections. I was brought up in a self employed family and worked on jobsites with my dad from a very young age. I started working full time at 14 and I worked in skilled trades and construction related fields all the way up until 2020. So my work history prior to inspections has taught me a lot that continues to aid me as an inspector. On top of that I have also completed an extensive training through both InterNACHI and the ICA real estate inspection program.

What We Inspect and Why

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible. Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be obvious to you as a prospective buyer. Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
